Watch my very unpolished intro video
(I only counted 11 “um’s” and “uh’s” π)
Write clear, compelling copy based on your creative briefs and brand voice.
Build, QA, launch, and maintain lifecycle campaigns and flows across email, SMS, in-app, and web messaging.
Build audiences and personalization rules so each message reaches the right person at the right time.
Turn your test ideas into live experiments across content, cadence, channels, and more.
Once you sign up, we'll hop on a quick onboarding call to cover your priorities, platform access, and any brand or creative assets β so I can hit the ground running.
Stack your requests in priority order. Move them around as needed. I'll tackle them one at a time and tag you when each is ready to review and ship.
Free up more capacity to focus on strategy that moves the needle.
Note: I only take on a small handful of clients at a time, so I can deliver the most efficient, exceptional work.
Book an intro callAaron is an excellent marketer and copywriter. He's a committed teammate that's collaborative, reliable, and always delivers what he promises. Bonus: he's fun to work with. Combine these things β high-level skill + excellent teammate + good person β and you have a rare individual that anyone would be lucky to work with.
Aaron deeply understands the interplay between customer research, persuasive storytelling, and honest selling. From multi-million dollar product launches to speccing out new offers for exploratory markets, Aaron can be trusted to do great work, on time, always. You can search around, but recognize that Aaron is in a league of his own.
Truly an absolute hidden gem of a human being, marketer, and copywriter, that you should absolutely be jumping at a chance to work with. I am gutted to not be working with him daily anymore. Anyone that gets to experience his talent, class, and ingenuity will be better off both as a marketer and as a human.
It's for lifecycle marketing teams that already know what they want to accomplish but need some help getting the work out the door.
If your team has an active lifecycle roadmap, an established messaging platform, and more planned work than you can execute efficiently, you're likely a good fit.
LifecycleLove is not a replacement for a full-time head of lifecycle. It works best when your team owns the broader strategy and needs an experienced partner to help you execute it.
I only take on a small handful of clients at a time, so I can deliver the most efficient, exceptional work.
You can pile as many requests into your queue as you like, prioritized in the order you prefer. I'll work on the one at the top, complete it, then move on to the next. You can always reorder your requests as priorities shift.
Recurring tasks typically take priority over one-offs unless you note otherwise, and tasks with deadlines get priority attention appropriate to the timeline.
It depends on size and complexity. Most small requests β like an email campaign built using your current design system, a simple flow, a segment build, or a quick A/B test setup β are usually turned around in 1β2 business days.
Medium or large requests β like flows with more complex branching, segmentation, and/or personalization, or a campaign that needs copywriting from your brief β may take up to a week or more, depending on scope and coordination.
With medium and larger builds, I'll typically break them into smaller tasks and pass them to you every couple of days for review.
If it falls within my typical scope and turnaround time, we're good to go. For anything outside that, I can give you a custom quote.
You'll add them to your Trello board that I create for you, any way you like β directly in the task, a Google Doc, a Loom videoβ¦ whatever works for you.
Submit as many requests as you'd like, and re-prioritize as your roadmap changes. I'll work through your active requests one at a time.
It naturally fluctuates. My work isn't based on hours β it's based on output. That keeps my effort focused on completing your work efficiently, not keeping a seat warm. You can expect an engaged, experienced, fractional lifecycle marketer who's responsive to your needs.
Here's where my work stops β and what I offer instead:
Once you sign up, I'll send a Calendly link to schedule an onboarding call. We'll cover whatever's needed β platform access, current backlog, copywriting and style guides, design systems or templates, and so on. To keep things streamlined, I use Trello to manage requests and can set up your board quickly.
I'm happy to work inside whatever marketing automation / customer engagement platform you use. I have recent hands-on experience in HubSpot (Marketing Hub Certified) and Braze (Level 3 Certified), plus work in Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and several other email platforms. I can get up to speed on new platforms quickly.
I deliver the most output when I stay mostly heads-down on the work. That said, I'm happy to be available via Slack, MS Teams, etc. I'm typically reachable Mon-Thurs.
If something needs a live conversation that can't be handled async via Trello, a doc, or a Loom video, we'll make it work.
Yes β anytime. When you first sign up, you pay in advance for the first month. You may cancel anytime before your next payment is processed.
You won't have to pay for a full month if you don't have work to fill it. Let's say you use the service for two weeks, then pause. Your billing pauses right then and there, and the remaining time stays in your account to use whenever you need it. Nothing's lost, and you can resume whenever you're ready.
Due to the nature of the work, refunds aren't available. You may cancel anytime, and if you're mid-cycle and don't need additional services, you can pause and restart when needed.
I do! They're available upon request.
When I take the occasional day or two off, I'll let you know ahead of time.
If I take a full week off, I'll let you know ahead of time and will apply a 25% credit to your next month's invoice. If I take two weeks away, I'll apply a 50% credit. I'll also work ahead on anything that's time-sensitive before I'm away.
I also observe U.S. federal holidays and am typically away for a few days around Thanksgiving and Christmas, which are built into the monthly subscription. If any additional time away significantly reduces my production in a given month, I'll make sure you're credited accordingly.
Sure! Whether a month or a few years, it's up to you.
